OSU Obsession

Okalahoma State University is Scuba's alma mater. He graduated in 2002 and quickly made me a "sister-in-law" to their sporting fan club. This season, as in the past, we became dedicated cheerleaders for the OSU basketball team. We made the road trip to Waco to meet up with our close friends Clay & Kallie Thomas to watch Eddie Sutton's Cowboys beat Baylor. We also braved a 9 hour road trip to Oklahoma for my first home game at Gallagher-Iba Arena. The Pokes pulled of a victory against Texas Tech and the stadium lived up to it's reputation. What a game! Jameson Curry was hitting his "3" point shots and we lost our voice cheering from the stands. Although OSU didn't fair well this year, it was still an addiction for us and we gave our support for each game. Scuba's taught me a lot about being a hardcore basketball fan and although I sitll long for the days of Joey Graham and John Lucas, it's fun to wear orange keep up with with the "new" Cowboys!
